Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Notify us immediately at team@wealthness.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

Wealthness helps you organize your money, focus, habits, and wellbeing. You retain ownership of the data and content you enter into the Service (“Your Content”).

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, transmit, display, and process Your Content only as needed to operate and improve the Service for you. That license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for backups and audit records held for a limited period as described in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter. Wealthness does not verify the numbers you provide.

Parts of the Service use large language models — currently Google Gemini and Anthropic Claude — to generate coaching, explanations, summaries, and suggestions.

AI outputs are produced automatically and may be incorrect, incomplete, out of date, or inappropriate for your situation. You are responsible for reviewing AI outputs before acting on them.

Neither Wealthness nor the LLM providers we use train their models on the inputs we send under the API contracts we use. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Wealthness is a personal wellness and organizational tool. It is not a licensed financial advisor, broker, accountant, attorney, therapist, or medical provider. Nothing in the Service — including calculators, budgets, debt plans, loan and car deal decoders, mood check-ins, journaling prompts, breathing or movement content, or AI responses — constitutes financial, investment, tax, legal, medical, or mental health advice.

Before making a decision that could materially affect your finances, health, or legal position, consult a qualified professional. You use the Service at your own discretion and risk.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service in a way that violates any law or the rights of others.
• Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing, or that contains malware.
• Attempt to access another user's account or data, or to probe, scan, or reverse engineer the Service beyond what applicable law permits.
• Interfere with the operation of the Service, including by overloading, spamming, or circumventing security controls.
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our prior written permission, other than public search engine indexing of our marketing pages.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service or its AI outputs without our written permission.

Wealthness offers a voluntary “Support the App” option that lets you contribute a small amount through Stripe. Contributions are:

• Voluntary — they are not required to use any part of the Service.
• Not a purchase of features — no feature, tier, or benefit is unlocked by contributing.
• Non-refundable, except where required by law or as we choose to grant on a case-by-case basis.

Payments are handled by Stripe under its own terms. We receive a record of the payment amount, currency, and time; we do not see your card number.

The Service depends on third-party providers, including Clerk (authentication), Neon (database), Cloudflare (file storage and delivery), Google (Gemini), Anthropic (Claude), Stripe (payments), and Resend (transactional email). Your use of any feature powered by these providers is also subject to their terms and privacy policies.

We are actively building Wealthness. Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time. We may also introduce paid tiers in the future; if we do, existing features you already use will continue to be available on the terms we announce at that time.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use exposes us or other users to legal or security risk.

On termination, Sections 2 (license to your content, as it relates to residual backups), 4, 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14 survive.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WEALTHNESS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WEALTHNESS AND ITS OFFICERS, MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU HAVE PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) US $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Wealthness and its affiliates from any claim or demand — including reasonable attorneys' fees — arising out of your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You and Wealthness agree that the state and federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas, will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute that is not resolved informally, and each party consents to personal jurisdiction there.

Before filing a formal claim, please contact us at team@wealthness.app so we can try to resolve it directly.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the “Effective” date at the top and, for logged-in users, notify you in the app or by email before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
